Deborah Powers

Deborah completed a BSc in Speech Sciences at University College London and qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2002. She then worked for nine years with diverse communities in East London, based in community clinics, child development centres and Sure Start children’s centres where she was a Locality and Clinical Lead Specialist for Early Years. Deborah then worked as a Communication Advisor for the children’s communication charity I CAN before joining ‘time to talk’™ in 2013.

Charlie Ayling

 

Charlie Ayling is a Speech and Language Therapist working in mainstream primary and secondary schools in Leamington Spa. She has previous experience working with ‘time to talk’™ early years settings in Rugby and delivering training.

 

 

 

 

Alex Williams originally developed the ‘time to talk’ strategy and was the Strategic Lead until moving on to pastures new in September 2015. Melanie Packer took over as Strategic Lead, developing and expanding the programme before moving on in January 2018.
